After years of experimentation, we have returned to quality breeding using a cross of different breeds which are customary here. The breeds are resistant against diseases but not very profitable as far as meat production is concerned. Since 2006, we have changed our cattle breeding over to Bradfort and Herfort having great success with regard to quality and quantity of the meat.

At present, about 180 cattle share 150 ha of pastureland all the year, which is approximately 1.2 animals per ha. This is the main reason for the outstanding taste of the meat which is produced here.
